I am a fully qualified practitioner registered with the HCPC, (Health Care Professionals Council), as an Arts Therapist. I am also registered and accredited by the UKCP, (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapists), as an Integrative Arts Psychotherapist. This means that I am trained in using a multi-arts approach alongside talking therapy.
My qualifications include an MA in Integrative Arts Psychotherapy, a PG Diploma in The Therapeutic Application of the Arts in Therapy and Education, and a BA (hons) in Music (Jazz).
I provide individual therapy and group work for adults. I also have extensive experience in working with trainee Psychotherapists and Psychotherapeutic Counsellors.
I am currently offering low-cost supervision for the duration of my training to become a Clinical Supervisor. Please contact me via my contact page.
I believe that a genuine, caring, and compassionate therapeutic relationship, is essential to effective psychotherapy. I can support you with a range of mental health difficulties, including traumas, relationship challenges, and life stressors/transitions.
I will listen very closely and non-judgementally to you and offer the interventions that I feel will be most helpful for you in your situation at this point in your life. This may be simply talking things through and getting a sense of what is happening at a deeper, unconscious level.
You may be feeling anxious, worried or overwhelmed, perhaps facing a crisis in your close relationships. You could be experiencing issues around your self worth or body image. Maybe you have lost a loved one and are finding it difficult to deal with adjusting to life without them. Perhaps it is depression or unresolved trauma from your past that are effecting how you engage with life in the here and now.
Whatever the situation, I can help you to move through painful experiences and find an inner peace and acceptance.
I can also offer a variety of resources to take away which will help you to build resilience for your future.
